The first MOKAH's exhibition with a Hanji artist, Miho Chung

On July 9th, MOKAH held a press conference and announced that its first exhibition with the Hanji artist, Miho Chung at Kumgangsan restaurant in Flushing. The exhibition will be from 7/25 through 7/31, and there will be an opening reception with the artist on 7/25 at 6:30pm.

Mrs. Chung, who has been a Hanji artist for over 35 years said, "It is an honor to be the first artist to have an exhibition at MOKAH since its opening. I hope that many people will enjoy the show and discover the beauty of the Hanji art. I truly believe that the art transcends cultural boundaries"

President Minsun Kim said, "It will be a great opportunity to introduce Korean Hanji art and the artist who lives in Philadelphia to meet the purpose of the museum representing the whole country not just limited to New York”. In this exhibition, there will be 25 ~ 30 pieces of Korean Hanji Paintings from her latest work.

Speaker Corey Johnson’s Fundraising Event
