The Museum of Korean American Heritage presents over 100 years of Korean American immigrant history. It preserves the roots of our Korean diaspora that connects multiple generations of immigrants together through their shared experiences.

Role — Preservation of History

The preservation of Korean immigration history in America will provide educational resources for future generations and will act as a forum to promote discussion and cultural involvement throughout the community.

MOKAH is currently gathering archives from governments and museums to collect Korean immigration history artifacts and digital materials. The exhibit is divided into 7 categories. It currently has materials from 21 institutions and has obtained the copyright for more than 40 artifacts. Check out our exhibits here.
