Cooking Class: Korean Traditional Jun and Half-Moon Rice Cake Making for West Point cadets    ( Oct 19, 2019 3pm-6pm )      Jun is a dish commonly prepared for Jesa, the traditional Korean ceremony performed to honor ancestors. We will prepare a variety of Jun together, and enjoy dining on our creations.  This class shows how to make Korean traditional jun and songpyeon with special chef Jung-hwa Kim (Mrs.Hyo-Sung Park, Consul General of New York).  Please join us and it will give you a special experience.

Korean Calligraphy Class   Learn the traditional art of Korean calligraphy as we teach you how to write your name with style and flair using the Korean alphabet, Hangeul. You do not have to have a Korean name to enjoy learning the arts we call Seoye and 붓글씨.

Cooking Class: Korean Traditional Mandoo and Mandoo Soup   Under the instruction of Jung-hwa Kim (Mrs. Hyo-sung Park, Consul General), you will learn how to prepare traditional Korean dumplings, known as mandoo. These little dumplings are stuffed with a mixture of meat or vegetables and have a unique shape. You will learn how to make the stuffing and wrapper from scratch, and how to make mandoo soup. When we are finished, we will enjoy dining together on our mandoo.
